முதல் முத்தம்

கைகள் மெதுவாய் இறகையாக மாறியது
கால்கள் பூமியை விட்டு விலகிய வன்னம் சென்றது
முதல் முதல் எழுதிய கவிதை போல் மணம் நேகிழ்ந்தது
சான்றோர் சபயில் பெற்ற பரிசு போல் உடல் சிலிர்த்தது
இவை அனைத்தும் நாழிகை நேரத்தில் நான் உணர்ந்தேன்
நீ கொடுத்த ஒரு\முதல் முத்தத்தில்....

காதல் தென்றலே...

பல்லவி

என் தென்றலே உன் சுவசத்தில்
நான் மூழ்கிப் போனேனே...
என் கீதமே உன் ராகத்தில்
நான் என்னைத் தொலைத்தேனே....

விழியோடு முளைத்தக் காதல்
இமை முடினும் இருளாதே
உயிரொடு வளர்ந்த காதல்
மரித்தாலும் மரியாதே....

என் தென்றலே....என் தென்றலே.....
உன் வாசம் வீசும் பாதையில் வருகிறேன்
என் வாழ்வின் பாதியை உன்னிடம் கொடுக்கின்றேன்.

உன்னால் நிலவே...உன்னால் நிலவே...
என் இரவுகல் என்றும் நீள்கிறதே.
உன்னால் உயிரே...உன்னால் உயிரே...
என் நிழலும் சுமையாய் மாறியதே

என் ஆதி அந்தம் தெரிகிறதே
என் வாழ்வின் அர்த்தம் புரிகிறதே
காத்திருந்தேன் நான் தனிமையிலே
உன் வருகையினால் பனி விலகியதே

என் உடலும் நீதானே...அதன் ஜீவன் நீதானே...
என் இளக்கும் நீதானே...சேரும் வழியும் நீதானே...

என் மூச்சுக் குழாயிள் தென்றலே நீதானே...
மாறிவரும் இரவும் பகலும் அன்பே நீதானே...

மீண்டும் பல்லவி

Comparing others - is it appreciable ?

I born in a beautiful place in south India. God gave me good parents and life. I belong to a middle class family. I am an average performing student in academics. Some how after a big struggle i completed my engineering from a reputed institute. I started my carrier in a very good company. Later i quit the job and joined another company. I quit 4 companies in 5 years of my carrier. Now i am placed in an IT company with a decent package. Some times i feel that i had spent tough times in my childwood. I am little bit comparative. Everyone is new to this world and we are not sure what needs to be done and what's not. So i always compare me with the one who is successful in a particular field. I feel that, the guys next to me has been blessed with what ever he wants at the same time, even my needs are not fullfilled. I never jealous/envy on them, but i wanted to have atleast my needs to get satisfied. If God don't want to give, then its my responsibility to get it done by myself.


I heard people always say that comparing you with others is like you are insulting yourself. If you have some bad habit and you want to get rid of it, then what will you do....you need to think of ideal characters and you follow them. The basic purpose of ideal workship in Hinduism portrays that mankind needs some kind of physical example/image to follow in his/her life. This is a simple way to get success in your life. Tell me what is the use of all books and philosophies in this world. It is difficult for you to know things by expeirencing it. So books helps to get others idea on a particular topic. After reading a novel, we normall used to feel that we are not as good as the hero to impress a girl. he he he . This is nothing but comparison. Later don't we want to improve on it ? I would say that comparing you with others is a kind a measurement you do to see where exactly you are and this helps in your improments. Look at others, take their good characters and ignore their bad things. This is not wrong in any way. Many Scholars says that "if you want to be happy, then look at the people below you. And get inspired by looking at people above you". The only problem in using this technique is that you need to find a good role model.


An example, I have some personal commitment and I need a huge amount of money. I worked in a manufacturing company and one day i met one of my school friend who worked for an IT firm in chennai. He earned three times more than me. This information lightened the firework in my thoughts. I started thinking that there a people in this world with same knowledge earning much more than me. I transformed this thought as a positive desire. I worked hard for this and after a year i joined in an IT company with a good salary. The positive desire totally driven me to a different level in my life. I compared my salary with my friend and this really helped me to improve myself. Good that i did not compared me with Bill Gates..... he he he..... am i did something wrong here ? I still have a very good relationship with my friend and i am also doing well.


People says that Wisdom has no limits and you need to target that and not mankind. No one has any idea where it lies. It is not a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound) goal for a layman like me. Here again i am saying that comparing with others should always create a positive desire for your own improvement. Jealous/envy should not be the outcome of this improvent process.

So friends, if you fell that your friend is comparing you, then be proud that you are considered as a role model by your friend on his/her improvement. Help them to attain their desire, if you want to really help them.

Positive desire definitely brings Great achievements.

Time

Time is not just a part of measurement system. It has a great impact on each and every living being in this world. Time has many definitions; everyone in this world has his/her own definition for Time. Time is one of the resources in this world that sometime we get it for free and sometime we pay even our life to earn it.

For a business man "Time is Money"

For a student "Time is Knowledge"

For a playful Child "Time is Fun"

For a capital punishment prisoner "Time is Life"

For a dying patient "Time is Pain"

For a worker after day long work "Time is Relaxation"

For a person who lost everything in life, "Time is Curse"

For a person who lost himself "Time is Sorrow"

For a soldier in battle field "Time is War"

For a beggar "Time is Poverty"

For a person who hates others "Time is Hatred"

For a person despised by others "Time is loneliness"

For an emerging seed "Time is Opportunity"

For a person before Marriage "Time is Love"

For some people after Marriage "Time is Frustration"

For a person who has illicit relationship "Time is Shame"

For a saint "Time is GOD"

For a person who live for himself "Time is Fear"

For a person who live for others "Time is Kindness"

For an unsatisfied person "Time is Anger and Envy"

For a self-satisfied person "Time is Calmness"

For a bird freed from cage "Time is Freedom"

There is no one in this world treat Time as "Just Time". Time always been addressed with an emotion either in prefix or in suffix.

For me "Time is Indignation".
